Smt. Jayaben Mody Multi Specialty Hospital

Serving the healthcare needs of the industrial town of Ankleshwar since 1986, Smt. Jayaben Mody Multispecialty Hospital has gracefully completed its thirty-seven of operations this year.
With the development of GIDC Ankleshwar in1970-80’s there was a great need for healthcare for the staff and workmen of this area. There was no government hospital in this area to provide for medical facilities. Mody family that was running the Unique Group of Companies at Ankleshwar , felt the need for bringing healthcare facility within the reach of the common people and the tribal population of the surrounding area, who cannot afford and travel to urban centres for availing expensive medical aid. And thus, being a philanthropist and visionary, the family donated towards setting up of the hospital in memory of their mother Late Smt. Jayaben Mody.  
With the initial donation of twenty-five bedded hospital was started in GIDC housing quarters which became a full-fledged hospital in 1996. The hospital was inaugurated by then Chief Minister of government of Gujarat Shri Suresh Mehta in the presence of Swami Shridharanandji, President Ramakrishna Mission Lucknow. Gradually the hospital has developed into a 120 bedded full-fledged, multi-speciality hospital with all essential amenities and facilities. The Hospital serves not only the population of Ankleshwar city, the industrial estate and Bharuch city, but also to the sub-urban, rural area and tribal hamlets in the entire region.  
Currently Smt. Jayaben Mody Multi- Specialty Hospital, with a current bed Strength of 146, a full- time medical team of 17 specialists, visiting doctors team of 26 specialists, a cancer radiation therapy centre supported by well-trained, qualified nursing and paramedical staff, operations and administrative team; is dedicated to deliver quality medical care to all its patients. The hospital also offers round the clock services of an emergency department, a well stocked medical store and ambulance services at nomina cost. Making wellness a way of life, this hospital is dedicated to the service of humanity, be it in the times of trauma or paving way towards lifestyle changes for a healthy and happy living.
