Ankleshwar Industrial Development Society is a professionally managed charitable trust established in 1983 with a commitment to delivering accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare services to the community. Founded during the rapid industrial growth of Ankleshwar — recognized as one of Asia’s largest industrial hubs — the organization has played a significant role in strengthening the region’s healthcare infrastructure through the management of Smt. Jayaben Mody Multispeciality Hospital.
The institution began as a small dispensary created to address the growing healthcare needs of industrial workers, employees, and local residents in the GIDC Ankleshwar region.
With the support of GIDC Ankleshwar, which allotted land at a symbolic cost of ₹1, the foundation was laid for a healthcare institution dedicated to community welfare and long-term public healthcare development.
Established initially as a 25-bedded healthcare facility, the hospital progressively evolved into a 120-bedded multispeciality hospital equipped with modern medical infrastructure, advanced technology, and comprehensive healthcare services. The transformation was made possible through the visionary contribution of the Mody Family, founders of the Unique Group of Companies, who recognized the importance of making quality healthcare accessible to rural, tribal, and economically underserved communities. The hospital was established in memory of Late Smt. Jayaben Mody Multispeciality Hospital, reflecting the family’s enduring commitment to social responsibility and community development.
Today, Smt. Jayaben Mody Multispeciality Hospital serves patients across Ankleshwar, Bharuch, and surrounding rural and tribal regions through a strong ecosystem of experienced healthcare professionals, specialists, nursing staff, and administrative teams dedicated to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
